General Description

The PAW3402 is a CMOS process optical mouse SoC with PS/2 interface that serves as a non-mechanical motion estimation engine for implementing a wired computer mouse. It is based on the new optical navigation technology, which measures changes in position by optically acquiring sequential surface images (frames) and mathematically determining the direction and magnitude of movement. The PAW3402 are capable of high-speed motion detection – up to 28 ips.
